About Samantha
Samantha is an associate attorney at Draft Masters IP, where she collaborates with technically trained attorneys and patent agents to deliver high-quality intellectual property legal services. Additionally, she contributes to the firm’s pro bono work in the Denver area.
Samantha grew up in Denver and earned a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Colorado. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad in Granada, Spain, where she completed the Hispanic Studies full-immersion program at the Universidad de Granada and participated in local language exchanges.
Samantha went on to earn her J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. While in law school she gained valuable experience at Oregon Consumer Justice, conducting legal research and developing policy recommendations on fraudulent auto financing practices. She later worked with the City Attorney’s Office in Albany, Oregon, assisting with a range of municipal legal matters. Samantha also served as prosecutor for Corvallis Municipal Court, where she collaborated with defense counsel and community organizations to support defendants facing challenges related to mental health, housing, and substance use.
Samantha brings a global perspective, a strong commitment to public service, and diverse legal experiences to her work in intellectual property and immigration law.
