About Tiffany

Prior to joining Draft Masters IP, Tiffany spent 12 years acting as in-house counsel for Medtronic, a global medical device manufacturer. At Medtronic, Tiffany was responsible for leading IP portfolio development and strategy for the Acute Care & Monitoring business unit, a $2B segment of Medtronic based in Boulder, Colorado. This role involved growth and management of worldwide IP assets, guidance on organic innovation, negotiation of a variety of licensing and technology agreements, diligence for complex M&A activities, litigation support, and offensive enforcement of IP.  During the Covid pandemic, Tiffany worked with a sprint team to craft Medtronic’s permissive license of ventilator files in an unprecedented sharing of IP.

Tiffany came to Colorado from Los Angeles, where she spent six years as an associate attorney at the law firm of Christie Parker & Hale (now part of Lewis Roca).  During law school, she served as a student clerk in the chambers of Hon. R. Gary Klausner (C.D. California) and as an editor on the UCLA Law Review.  Her technical background includes a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas, where she also interned at NASA (Johnson Space Center) and a wind power company.  She has drafted hundreds of patents in fields including aerospace, medical device, automotive, renewable energy, materials science, software, signal processing, and more.
